By accessing or using EpoxyScout, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We provide a directory of contractors, informational guides, a floor visualizer, and a bid-request system. We are not a licensed contractor, and we do not install, warranty, or supervise any flooring work.

Contractor listings include information such as license status, ratings, and reviews gathered from third-party sources. We work to keep this accurate but do not guarantee it. You are responsible for independently verifying any contractor — including their license, insurance, references, and written estimates — before hiring.

When you request bids, you may receive estimates and messages from contractors. Any contract, payment, warranty, or dispute is strictly between you and the contractor. EpoxyScout is not a party to and is not responsible for the quality, timing, pricing, or outcome of any work.

Estimates provided through the platform are preliminary and non-binding until you and a contractor agree to terms directly.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the platform — including scraping, spamming, attempting to bypass rate limits or bot protection, or submitting fraudulent requests.

The visualizer produces an illustrative preview to help you picture finishes. Results are approximations and may differ from a real installation in color, texture, and finish. They are not a guarantee of any final result.

If you list a business on EpoxyScout, you represent that your information is accurate and that you hold the licenses and insurance you claim. Additional terms may apply to paid listings and lead services.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EpoxyScout is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any contractor you find through it.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
