Account & verification. We use your email to create and secure your account. We do not accept unverified email addresses for bid requests.

Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical data (device, browser, and hashed IP address) to keep the service secure and prevent abuse of tools like the floor visualizer.

This is the core of how EpoxyScout works. When you request bids, contractors see your project details but not your name, phone, or email. They respond with estimates and can message you through our platform while you remain anonymous.

Your contact information is disclosed to a specific contractor only when you choose to release it to them. You control this for every contractor, individually.

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Contractors — project details always; your contact info only when you release it.
• Service providers — infrastructure, database, email, and bot-protection vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal — when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell your personal information.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can cancel an active project at any time from your dashboard. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
